England

On April 1 2010 the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) became the single agency to work on behalf of Dept for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) to fund and regulate adult further education and skills training in England. The SFA will invest £4m this year in colleges and training organisations to fund training for adults in England.

Wales

Funding for learning in Wales is managed by DCELLS, and delivered through several streams within the National Funding System (NFS) to support learners, providers and employers in developing the skills needed to drive business success.

Scotland

Skills Development Scotland (SDS) is the national body responsible for providing funding support for adult learners through the Individual Learning Accounts Scotland scheme, with information and advice on a range of funding options.

Northern Ireland

There are three main sources of funding available to support management development in Northern Ireland - Leadership and Management, the European Social Fund, and the European Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP).
