Approved Centre and Recognised Provider Fees
Effective from 1 September 2009 to 31 August 2010
Centre approval
Fee: £1,500.00
The centre approval fee includes:
- Centre approval for four years
- Approval for two qualifications and/or endorsed and development programmes, or suites of qualifications and/or programmes applied for at the time of the initial centre approval
- Free studying membership for tutors and trainers, providing access to all the services received by candidates registered with ILM
- Up to two free visits for advice and guidance on the completion of the necessary centre approval documentation and appropriate solutions for your business
- ILM approved centre plaque
Please note: additional qualifications or programmes can be included for the appropriate extra fee. Further advisory visits by an ILM representative are also available.
Existing City & Guilds Group Centres
The centre approval fee for existing City & Guilds group centres that wish to offer ILM qualifications or a combination of qualifications and recognised programmes is £750, a 50% discount on the full centre approval fee. Please note, this discount only applies to the initial centre approval fee and does not include subsequent centre re-approval or approval for any additional qualifications (please note this applies to Approved Centre approval only and not Recognised Providers).
Approved centre reapproval
Fee: £1,200.00
Centre reapproval takes place every four years and includes:
- Any number or combination of qualifications or endorsed and development programmes for which the centre is ALREADY approved
- PLUS you can now add an unlimited number of qualifications and/or programmes to your portfolio at no additional cost when you reapprove
- Free studying membership for tutors and trainers, providing access to all the services received by candidates registered with ILM
- Up to two free visits for advice and completion of the necessary documentation and appropriate solutions for your business
- An updated ILM centre plaque
Recognised provider fees
Fee: £700 - Initial approval
£575 - Renewal (applicable every four years)
Fee includes:
- Recognised Provider status for four years
- Up to four different programmes, submitted at the same time. Subsequent blocks of programmes will incur the additional qualification approval fee (see below)
- ILM Certificate of Recognised Provider status
Please note: If you wish to provide ILM qualifications in addition to endorsed and development programmes, you will require Approved Centre status (see fees above). Recognised Providers can change their status to full Approved Centre at the additional cost of £800.00. This may coincide with initial approval, re-approval or be an additional approval at any point in the four-year cycle.
International centre fees
Our centre approval and recognised provider fees also apply to centres based outside of the UK and Republic or Ireland. However, international centres are responsible for meeting all costs relating to travel, accommodation and expenses for all EV visits and for Operations Managers where the visit takes place outside of their country of office. Other centre/provider fees
Additional qualification approval
Fee: £200.00 - one additional qualification/suites of qualifications
£300.00 - two additional qualifications/suites of qualifications
If you wish to offer additional ILM programmes or qualifications during the four-year approval cycle the additional qualification fees apply.
Please note that four different endorsed and development programmes (submitted for approval at the same time) count as one additional qualification approval. These fees apply to Approved Centres and Recognised Providers.
Advisory visits
Additional advisory visits, by an ILM representative, are available for a fee of £300 per day or £150 per half day. Exceptional expenses such as flights will be charged in addition to this fee.
Routine verification visits are provided free of charge, however a charge of £300 (plus any exceptional expenses incurred) may be applied if cancellation is made less than five days before the visit is scheduled.
