The 2009-2010 Candidate Registration Fees Guide is now available
ILM’s fees for 2009-2010 have been updated, to include newly developed qualifications. Effective from 1 September 2009, you can now download new versions of our UK Fees Guide or Irish Fees Guide. You will have been notified in advance of any changes to fees, as well as the information appearing here.
About the registration fees
The Fees Guides are divided up into:
- Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) – independently assessed fees
- Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) – externally assessed fees
- Scottish/National Vocational Qualifications (S/NVQs) fees
- ILM Dual Awards fees
- ILM Endorsed & development Programmes fees
What the registration fee covers
- Processing candidate registrations and results, with full documentation
- Quality assurance and guidance from your designated ILM External Verifier and Quality Manager
- Advice and guidance on qualifications and resources available from Business Managers
- External assessment, where applicable, and two Chief Assessor’s reports each year
- Issue of candidate certificates on successful completion of programme
- Access to a wide range of specialist support and development materials and services
- Access to free studying member status for your registered candidates (for up to one year), providing access to a wide range of specialist support and development materials and services
Independent v External Assessment
There are two assessment routes available to centres entering candidates for team leading and management VRQs at levels 2-5 – independently assessed ie where the centre assesses the qualification in-house and externally assessed ie where ILM assess candidate work.
For those centres able to carry out independent assessment there is a discount to their candidate fees, reflecting the reduction in involvement with ILM. For smaller centres the option of external assessment can prove useful in lightening the burden and further enhance the credibility of ILM qualifications.
