ILM partners with over 2,000 approved centres nationwide to raise organisational performance through improved leadership and management. Find out how you could take your staff development to the next level by partnering with the UK’s premier awarding body for leadership and management qualifications.
Become an ILM-approved centre
Rather than outsourcing their management training to an external supplier, many larger organisations choose to deliver ILM’s market-leading qualifications in-house and harness the immediate benefits of our practical work-based approach to leadership and management development.
By becoming an ILM approved 'centre' (the official term for companies that deliver our programmes) organisations underline their commitment to staff development and gain recognition that their leadership and management training meets the highest industry standards.
Flexibility and choice
As an ILM centre you will gain access to the full breadth and depth of ILM’s qualifications portfolio, spanning management, leadership, enterprise, coaching and mentoring, and much more. With qualifications from levels 2 (first-line manager level) to 7 (senior manager/director level) on the national qualifications framework, and the option of three sizes of qualification – award, certificate or diploma – at most levels, employers have more choice than ever when selecting programmes by subject, level and size to suit an individual or group’s training needs.
Because ILM qualifications are unit-based and entirely compatible with the emerging credit frameworks, you also have the option of working with ILM’s specialist team of consultants to custom build qualifications from units across our portfolio, or bolt on ILM units to existing training programmes, to create bespoke development solutions for your business.
Skills that matter
Whatever route they opt for, centres can be sure that all ILM qualifications are designed in direct response to industry needs, to give learners the practical skills to deliver real business improvements. By delivering these programmes in-house, ILM approved centres can see these benefits first hand, retaining ownership of their staff development, and embedding best-practice leadership and management within the culture of their company.
First for customer service
ILM’s flexible customer care package ensures all centres have a dedicated customer support team, comprising a Business Manager, Quality Manager and Customer Services Operator, who are on hand to guide you through the centre approval process and help you choose, develop and implement appropriate development solutions for you business.
