National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs), like VRQs, are nationally recognised qualifications, aimed at providing tangible business benefits through their strong emphasis on highly practical assessment.
S/NVQs are achieved entirely by demonstrating competence through a portfolio of work or professional discussion, while VRQs involve a greater degree of study alongside work-based assessment. By offering a range of relevant and practical S/NVQs alongside its flexible unit-based VRQ portfolio, ILM provides organisations and their employees with the widest possible choice of accredited management development.
