Membership grades, criteria and cost

Download a summary of the ILM professional membership grades available to you together with the criteria for each grade and the cost.

Fellowship applicants only

If you’re applying to join ILM as a Fellow you’ll need to download the membership application form, read through the guidance notes for Fellowship applicants and send your completed application form to ILM together with the specified additional information to support your application.

Online applications

The online application form is simple to fill out and only takes a few minutes to complete. By applying online you save £25 (€38) on the joining fee.

You can save a further £10 (€15) on your subscriptions by setting up direct debit payments; you simply need to provide the following details:

• Name of your bank
• Your bank’s address
• Your bank’s sort code 
• Your account number

If you are not paying by direct debit, you will need to provide your credit/debit card number and security code. 

Paying by cheque

If you prefer to pay by cheque you won’t be able to join online, so please download a membership application form instead, complete it and return it to us by post.
