Special Interest Groups

ILM is developing a range of special interest groups that provide a tailored selection of sector-specific member services for people working in local government and for small business owner/managers.

Faculty of Enterprise

If you are a small business owner/manager or someone who’s thinking about setting up a business, the Faculty of Enterprise offers all the benefits  of ILM membership, plus some specially tailored services to provide additional support - two free e-learning modules on business planning and contract negotiations, the monthly Enterprise e-zine, checklists on enterprise topics and useful know-how guides. The Faculty of Enterprise was developed in conjunction with SFEDI, the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative.

Faculty of Local Government Managers

If you work for a local authority, police or fire service, then the Faculty of Local Government Managers is for you. As well as all the usual ILM membership services, you’ll also receive the monthly Local Government Manager e-zine.
