Level 5 Awards, Certificate and Diploma in Social Enterprise Support

5

The ILM Level 5 qualifications in Social Enterprise Support are specifically designed to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of managers working within a social enterprise environment. They also provide valuable guidance for managers working within this specialist sector.
The Awards are five concise, single-unit, qualifications each covering a different aspect of social enterprise support: ‘Understanding Social Enterprise’, ‘Promoting Social Enterprise’, ‘Developing Social Enterprises’, ‘Sustaining Social Enterprises’ and ‘Personal and Professional Development’. They can be taken as free standing qualifications or combined to form the Certificate or Diploma. The Certificate is a longer, free standing qualification, built up from the Awards. Learners complete ‘Understanding Social Enterprise’ and ‘Personal and Professional Development’ plus one of the remaining Awards.
The Certificate therefore provides a wider base of knowledge and skills needed by managers and advisers in this specialist sector.
The Diploma combines all five Award/units providing a comprehensive range of skills, knowledge and understanding of social enterprise needed by managers working within this sector or for advisors/consultants who are working with new or established social enterprises.
