Military rank equivalencies

The Institute of Leadership & Management recognises military ranks and they have mapped them to their membership grades, according to your levels of achievement, experience and qualification.

We have also mapped military training courses to ILM qualifications. This means that, if you don’t have formal management-related qualifications, you can still join the Institute at a membership grade that recognises your achievements and/or military training.
