ILM experiences: management apprenticeships Babcock
ILM apprenticeships aren’t just for those new to employment, they're a great way to develop managers too
Babcock International Group provides training to over 22,000 learners across various employers such as Asda, Shoe Zone and Nandos. 2,000 of those are under the ILM banner, with 1,000 taking management apprenticeships.
Michael Kent, Operations Manager – Skills and Learning, explains why they’ve chosen ILM:
"ILM management apprenticeship can be used across a wide range of sectors; the skills that the learners and candidates gain across their qualifications are widely transferrable, so that qualification can be taken from one workplace to another."
And it’s not just the qualifications with apprenticeship packages that Babcock appreciate: "ILM are able to offer a brilliant range of resources, from learning materials, e-learning, handbooks, and they work with us in collaboration; that's what's so good about it," says Michael.
