Want to deliver ILM apprenticeships? Whether you already work with us or are yet to become an ILM approved centre, we've got guidance below on how to get started.

I'm an ILM approved Centre

For centres already working with ILM, you're in a perfect position to transition to delivering the new standards.

To apply for approval to deliver ILM's new apprenticeship Diplomas, you will need to complete the Qualification Approval Form (using the Qualification Approval Form Guidance Notes).

For each qualification you're applying to be approved for, you will need to provide evidence of your readiness to deliver and assess the course content. We've outlined the supporting evidence you need to provide for each qualification below.

  • Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship

    Programme Delivery

    • A learner journey plan/scheme of work, including induction information
    • Evidence that staff delivering and internally assuring the qualification have the relevant experience - for example, by providing CVs
    • A copy of your learner handbook - highly recommended but not mandatory

    Assessment

    • A copy of your Exams and Invigilation Policy - this should meet the requirements of the ILM Instructions for Conducting Examinations Policy
    • A copy of your updated Appeals Policy to include information on online test appeals
    • An assessment strategy/plans for this qualification
    • Your internal quality assurance plans for this qualification

    Technical requirements

    You will need access to the E-volve platform in order for your learners to take knowledge tests. To get access please do the following:

  • Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship

    Programme Delivery

    • A learner journey plan/scheme of work, including induction information
    • Evidence that staff delivering and internally assuring the qualification have the relevant experience - for example, by providing CVs
    • A copy of your learner handbook - highly recommended but not mandatory

    Assessment

    • An assessment strategy/plans for this qualification
    • Your internal quality assurance plans for this qualification

 

I'm a City & Guilds centre

If you are already working with City & Guilds and would like to be approved to deliver ILM's management apprenticeship diplomas, you will need to complete and submit the following documents to approval@i-l-m.com before the quality approval process can start.

I'm not currently an ILM approved centre
