Focus on the skills you need
There are five mandatory units, covering the skills and knowledge you need to be effective at this level:
- Thorough grounding in your role and responsibilities
- Crucial soft skills – including communication, relationship-building
- Develop your critical thinking abilities
- Understand the financial concepts that inform management decisions
- Use these concepts to make a financial case
- Identify and analyse opportunities for improvement
- Find and implement innovative solutions, lead through change
The optional units cover a broad range of core and specialist topics. Work with your employer or training provider to find the units that best fit your individual and organisational requirements.
