There are five mandatory units, covering the skills and knowledge you need to be effective at this level:

  • Crucial soft skills – including communication, relationship-building

  • Use these concepts to make a financial case
  • Identify and analyse opportunities for improvement

The optional units cover a broad range of core and specialist topics. Work with your employer or training provider to find the units that best fit your individual and organisational requirements.

Structure

Details of the qualification, learning time involved and criteria a learner must satisfy

The qualification is structured into 3 groups. At least 2 hours of induction and at least 9 hours of tutorial support are required. There are 5 mandatory units and a choice of optional units. Learners must attain a minimum of 37 credits (a maximum of 14 credits from group 3).
