The world of work is changing. Our research shows that developing coaching and mentoring skills at every level of an organisation is the key to unlocking potential and increasing productivity.
Whether it’s helping to shape the careers of talented individuals, encouraging innovative ideas and new perspectives or simply building resilience in preparation for the challenges ahead, coaching and mentoring skills can be used every day to improve performance.
ILM and European Mentoring and Coaching Council UK (EMCC UK) collaboration
We’re pleased to announce our collaboration with EMCC UK to provide ILM’s newly qualified learners with access to membership of the Council as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the professionalisation of coaching and mentoring in the UK.
EMCC UK aims to develop, promote and set the expectation of best practice in mentoring, coaching and supervision around the world. People who have completed an ILM coaching qualification will have the opportunity to build a network with other coaches and mentors by joining regional and special interest groups, or through volunteering opportunities.
ILM strives to be the gold standard for coaching and mentoring best practice and we continue to be the only organisation in the UK that combines the practical application of professional competency with the rigour of regulated qualifications.
