Coaching and Mentoring Special Interest Group (SIG)

An informal forum bringing providers together every eight weeks to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. With no fixed agenda, discussions are shaped by real challenges and best practice.

ILM Level 5 Leadership & Management Development qualifications launch with Level 3 recap

Join us to explore the new ILM Level 5 Operational Leadership and Management Development qualification and discover how it helps operational and middle managers develop the knowledge and understanding needed to lead people, manage change and drive performance with confidence.

We'll look at the value the qualification delivers for learners, employers and providers, as well as the opportunities it creates for progression across the ILM leadership portfolio. We'll also cover the qualification structure, learning content and flexible assessment approach, ensuring centres are ready to promote and deliver the new offer.

The session will include links to qualification handbooks, Q Cards and support resources, along with details of the fast-track approval process for centres currently delivering the outgoing Leadership and Management suites.

Launched in February 2026, this informal forum brings ILM Leadership & Management customers together in the same open, agenda free format as the Coaching & Mentoring SIG to share insights, challenges, and best practice. Groups may cluster by level or product focus, with joining links available via the ILM events page.
