Focus on the skills you need
There are four mandatory and three optional units in this qualification. The four mandatory units are:
• Manage your own resources and professional development
• Provide leadership for your team
• Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
Then, choose three optional units. These include units that focus on the skills to encourage innovation, plan and implement change, develop productive working relationships, deal with recruitment, manage a budget or a project, and help to improve or solve problems with customer service. Work with your employer or training provider to map units to your role, needs and skills gaps.
