Kineo look to revolutionise corporate training and handling of Environmental, Social and Governance responsibilities with new suite of courses.
Following a successful launch of its off-the-shelf ESG courses to selected early adopters in November 2023, ILM’s fellow City & Guilds brand Kineo has now announced the global launch of a full suite of ESG training. This suite of courses has been designed by Kineo to elevate corporate understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance responsibilities while driving genuine impact on industries worldwide.
With businesses around the globe facing increasing pressure to reduce their environmental footprint, City & Guilds has proudly collaborated with Kineo as well as subject matter experts from sustainability consultants Green & Good to have created state-of-the art courses tailored to meet the urgent and evolving needs of modern businesses. Created to help companies navigate the complex landscape of ESG and their own responsibilities, the new training suite will empower organisations to not only meet regulatory, compliance and legal requirements but also to engage and inspire employees to create real positive change.
Jo Goddard, Founder and CEO at Green & Good, and one of Kineo’s ESG training suite subject matter experts, emphasised the importance of ESG training, stating, “Understanding ESG is fundamental to business success. Training employees in this area is even more important as ESG programs are no longer siloed into one department, but rather, integrated throughout the business.”
Kirstie Donnelly, City & Guilds CEO, echoed this sentiment, stating, “At City & Guilds, we are committed to net zero by 2040. We are passionate about supporting other businesses to achieve their targets via our industry-leading training solutions, contributing to a global vision of excellence in employer customer service. It’s time to transcend greenwashing and empower companies to develop a highly skilled workforce to meet the demands of a more sustainable world. Kineo’s ESG training suite does just that.”
According to a recent report from Bain & Co, more than 60% of companies have admitted that they are ill-prepared to meet sustainability reporting commitments and this latest initiative from Kineo aims to bridge that gap by offering dynamic and practical learning solutions. By integrating ESG principles into business operations and culture, these courses enable employers and employees alike to fulfil their responsibilities confidently.
Developed with a diverse audience ranging from entry-level employees to senior leaders, policymakers, and middle management in mind,
Kineo's suite of courses addresses the critical aspects of sustainability and ethical governance that are impacting businesses today. By building a deeper understanding of ESG topics and providing practical insights to support informed decision-making and enable better ESG reporting, these courses help organisations to effectively navigate the complexities of sustainable business practices, fostering a genuine impact on their community and the environment.
The effectiveness of the ESG training courses is underscored by the positive feedback from early adopters including TCP Training. “The ESG content is vibrant and informative, offering the right amount of information in a user-friendly format that's easy to use and understand.”
The commitment of Kineo and of the wider City & Guilds group including ILM to ESG aligns with the ever-evolving expectations of stakeholders and investors, a strengthening of core values and a promise to advance the operational excellence of all participating organisations.
